Broken Bricks
I miss the uninhabited broken
brick spaces
Surrounded by uncouth grass and radiance
Serene and bucolic with no traces
of grey
It was special for everyone and
anytime!
I did relinquish what it has
become today
No more bricks and the grass is burnt
The dark side has lost its
charisma
Today it remains just another
space!
I walk every day and think of
those bricks
People who sat there and what
they spoke
I laugh at times and cry a lot
more because
The songs of innocence can’t be
heard!
